After You Ring the Bell: Ten Challenges for the Cancer Survivor

Many cancer centers have a bell for patients to ring the day they have their last treatment. This is a significant moment —the end of active treatment and the beginning of a hopefully life free of cancer. What happens, though, to the person with cancer after the bell has rung?

In this book, the 10 challenges often faced by survivors are described. These include issues such as fear of recurrence, depression, fatigue, nutrition, and the long-term effects of cancer treatment.

This book is helpful not only to cancer survivors and their family members, but also to health care providers who care for these men and women through the survivorship phase that hopefully lasts a very long time.
